Everybody Loves Centennial, right? That intoxicating aroma of lemon and orange blossom. We wanted to deliver an intense but easy drinking Centennial experience so we started with a Vienna malt base and threw in flaked oats and wheat for body and mouthfeel. All of the hops were added post-boil with 1.5 pounds per barrel of Centennial in the whirlpool and 1.5 lbs/bbl of Cryo Centennial in 2 dry hop additions. ‘Cryo Hops’ is the concentrated lupulin of whole-leaf hops containing resins and aromatic oils. It contains twice the resin content of traditional hops, offering a more intense hop varietal character with less astringent and vegetal flavors.
